We all have read about the evolution theory, human race or in other words Homo Sapiens are one of the most evolved species beyond any doubt, but even then we are living in the world where we have not yet reached at consensus about the existence of God. Some do believe, some don't and some are forced to believe but rarely anyone is unaware of God's reference to matters where logic fails.
The reason is simple. The human life is evolving not only physically but also neurally (at least we all want our brain to evolve) and that is what has lead to evolution of human thoughts.
Evolution of human thoughts here means the basis on which we justify our actions.
Religious Domination:
We all must have heard of times before industrial revolution and in those times 'religion' and the fear of God was the most dominating factor. All actions which had religious sanctions were allowed and all others were prohibited. Recall that even astronomical discoveries of Galileo were banned and he was made to suffer. Science was a kid before Church and so was the King. Letters of indulgence were sold, confession once a year was made mandatory and an unimaginable level of corruption was prevalent in Church. This ultimately led to the rise of Protestants and religious persecution in the name of GOD. That was the era where human thought was dominated by religious believes.
Domination of Science (Modern World):
With the dawn of Industrial Revolution, the religious world became an economic world. Science started dominating and we started finding all the answers in logic and scientific discoveries. Whatever seems logical was considered modern and religion was given another name of superstition. Rational thoughts are cherished and rest all are discarded. People started studying science, technology and what not for searching the logical/rational answers to life's questions. Corruption prevailed but the corrupt changed its face. Religion took a back seat and science drove the society. Whatever that science or the logic supported was considered the truth and rest all is discarded. But still Life won and laughed at us pointing to the deficiencies of science. Science failed to figure out the life and that led us to evolve further in our thoughts.
(You might be wondering why the hell am I using 'was and is' together and murdering the grammar but believe me even I am confused what should I use because the we are living in an era where the domination of science though prevailing is being challenged by new thought. SO please bear with me and just appreciate the beauty of human brain)
I'm sure whosoever is reading this post is well aware of this so called modern world where economy is dominating and hence I would like to leave this section here itself.
Post Modern World:
YOLO, does it sound familiar? If yes, you have already sensed the post modern world. Live your life the way you want. Money can't buy everything. It is never too late to begin. Equality and liberty. Modern arts, music and what not. There are movements/ revolutions for the liberty, against the government itself. Questions are being raised as to why democratic government? why not complete freedom, why not decentralized government, community government and all. The focus of kids has changed from the science to photography, blogging, social networking, etc. This is what is evolution of post modern thought. Neither science nor religion can provide answers to all the questions that life throws at us and hence a multi-dimensional approach.
The simple philosophy of Post Modern thought is to 'Deconstruct the Reality'. Don't accept anything in the way it is presented rather use it the way it suits you. It is not what writer is saying but what the reader is understanding that matters as per Post Modern world.
The point here is that human is intelligent, human brain is masterpiece, we are continuously trying (though failing) to figure out the meaning of life. Buddha did, Vivekananda did, Gandhi did and we all are doing and trying consciously or sub-consciously to figure out life.
In the end-'The truth is that no body knows what life and where they might end up, so no one can tell anybody how to lead a life at least for now as the mystery is yet to be unfolded. Hence, don't let anybody challenge your way of life, you might end up giving this world something useful to help understand life'.
